RPG Person Profile

Shamelessly stolen from Basic Red RPG.

I’m currently running (at home): Nothing right now, but I’d really like to introduce some folks irl to the OSR.

I’m currently running (online): On and off I’m running a GLOG game with my fellow weebs.

I’m currently playing: Savage Worlds, in a post-apoc techno-magical game with a beloved GM. We’re having a lot of fun but we seem to be fighting the system a lot of the time.

I would especially like to play/run: Maid RPG (what a surprise)

…but would also try: wargaming again, some indie/story type games (they look like fun and I haven’t had the pleasure yet), playing in someone else’s OSR game.

I live in: Nashville

2 or 3 well-known RPG products other people made that I like: B/X companion - it rules, get it if you like B/X. Far Away Land - fun art, creative setting and monsters.

2 or 3 novels I like: The Hobbit, WoT series.

2 or 3 movies I like: Nausicaa, Star Wars.

Best place to find me on-line: You can read me here, and contact me if you know my Reddit or Discord. It’s probably not hard for you to figure out other contact details, you stalker you.

I will read almost anything on tabletop RPGs if it’s: got cool art, is weird or perverted, has random tables, is made by someone who seems cool or fun, has some ideas I can adapt to my campaign.

I really do not want to hear about: I’m really open to most stuff but I really don’t want people whining about historical accuracy in a game with elves and dragons. Also, minmaxing strats. 9 times out of 10 if you try that at my table the enemies will target you and they’ll seem to crit a lot of the time. Instead of building an invincible character, come up with some crazy-enough-to-work plan to make a battle go your way. THAT will work, if you roll well at least ;)

I think dead orc babies are ( circle one: funny / problematic / ….well, ok, it’s complicated because….) not part of my game. I mostly prefer truly monstrous creatures to the slightly racist tolkien ones, and orcs or gobbos that you run into will probably be adventuring parties. If you want to have a game about the moral implications of fighting orcs… that’s valid, but I’m not really the GM for you.
